Product Description
Making wines since 1841, the Familia Fuertes-owned Bodegas Luzón is one of the most historic wineries in the DO of Jumilla in the southeast of Spain. The climate here is continental, influenced by the nearby Mediterranean Sea and ideal for growing the Monastrell (Mourvèdre) grape variety. Luzón Roble Monastrell is cherry coloured with aromas of fresh red fruits, sweet spices, toast, and coffee notes. The palate is fleshy and smooth with ripe sweet tannins gained from three months in French and American oak.
